


I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the sitar in rock music, and I’m even less interested in electric sitar. Reggie Young was a session musician at American Sound, leading a group called the Memphis Boys. Songwriter Mark James worked with legendary producer Chips Moman at Moman’s Memphis-based American Sound Studios.
